Francisco "Pancho" Ramos Stierle
PhD student on the Astrophysics program (3rd year), UC Berkeley.

A Mexican agnostic earthling who was born on March 12th of 1975 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He lived in Mexico City for 25 years and after 26 laps around the Sun he realized that AstroBiology was his true passion, so he gave up his job in telecommunications to return to the academic studies. He studied for 2 years Astrophysics in Mexico and then he joined the exoplanet hunters here at Berkeley.

Currently, he is working on the Kepler Mission simulating the noise of stars to be able to detect Super-Earths and Earth-like planets orbiting other stars.
