Inexpensive/Pervasive/Remote Health Monitoring in developing regions and for the elderly: Berkeley, CA

We've been working on an inexpensive chest worn device capable of recoding a wide variety of biometric data such as ECG, EMG, GSR, Sp02, Audio, Motion, and Temperature. The data is stored locally on flash for long term monitoring, or can be transmitted to a remote server via its bluetooth-cellphone link. This allows for continual unteathered monitoring of a number of parameters to help with diagnosis of a health condition, to help monitor an existing condition, or to do remote diagnosis via its telemetry system.
